RELICS | A PHOTOSPHERICAL REFLECTION ON WALES

Relics is a multifaceted artistic project based around a recurring series of short term, public-access, site-specific art installations. For the last 10 years our artistic director, Matt Wright has been living in, documenting and drawing creative inspiration from the beautiful and varied landscapes of Wales. With Relics he opens up his unique view on these landscapes through the first large-scale implementation of his 360º photospherical practice, where he presents high definition 360º panoramic photographs as spherical sculptures back at their exact point of capture.

This project has been supported by Cadw, Wales Millennium Centre, National Waterfront Museum and the Arts Council of Wales.
