The Rift wins Grand Prize at NewImages, Paris

The latest fulldome film by Welsh studio 4Pi Productions, The Rift, has just been awarded Grand Prize in the dome competition at the NewImages Festival in Paris, one of the leading international festivals dedicated to immersive and XR storytelling. This recognition marks a major milestone in the film’s international journey following its world premiere at the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam (IDFA) in November 2025.

We had the privilege of being part of a truly special event in San Francisco, California, where we performed live visuals for Adobe’s 40th Anniversary celebration. The event took place at the iconic Chase Center, bringing together industry leaders, creatives, and performers for an unforgettable evening that combined inspiring presentations, cutting-edge technology, and live music. It was an incredible experience to work alongside Freckled Sky, Front Pictures and Gaianova to curate the content and perform one hour of live visuals before Katy Perry joined on stage.
