Our DNA

4Pi is an artist-led multidisciplinary studio creating experiential installations that connect with audiences in bold and unexpected ways. We explore multiple perspectives and design shared immersive experiences that shift how stories are seen, felt and inhabited. By merging narrative with technology, we move beyond the limits of two dimensions to create work that surrounds, engages and transforms.

Our projects have been presented internationally at leading festivals and institutions including Hong Kong Cultural Centre, SAT Montreal, SXSW, the National Science and Media Museum (UK), Bilbao Arte Foundation, Macau Arts Festival, Pixelatl Mexico and IDFA (Amsterdam). In 2019, we launched CULTVR Lab in Cardiff, Europe’s first cross-disciplinary immersive space dedicated to digital arts, live performance, XR and 360° cinema.

Collaboration and accessibility are central to our practice. We have partnered with educational institutions such as Chapman University (USA) and Oxford University (UK) to research and co-create innovative projects, while also advising public and private organisations worldwide on immersive strategy and digital placemaking.

At our core, we are multidisciplinary, bringing together interactive developers, filmmakers, designers, technologists and performers to create projects that explore emerging cultural forms, question our relationship with the world, and leave a lasting impact in shared and public spaces.

Our work can be found in museums, performance venues, trade shows and the public realm, creating environments where audiences can engage, explore and reconnect with the living world. We care deeply about the planet, crafting immersive experiences that inspire connection and envision more sustainable futures.
